Everyday people wake up and instantly have problems that loom over top of them. For many it could be as simple as debt or bills. It starts of small like a pebble, but it can grow so large and out of control that it seems like boulder crushing you. Some people have problems to deal with illness, whether it be themselves or a loved one. No matter how happy or perfect someone’s life may seem they all have issues obstacles in life they have to overcome. Heroes may seem to beat villains with ease, but they to have obstacles that are difficult to beat. Similar to Beowulf I have obstacles, Grendel’s mother and the Dragon, that I must overcome, like bullying and stress. Almost every teenager in the US has been bullied about something at one point

I learned to roll with punches and let it roll of my back. I became my own Epic hero and slew the dragon after being beat down. The stress of high school, its always there waiting like a predator stalking it pray, It pounces on innocent teenagers when they least expect it. Things seem like they are going good, and bam, I am suddenly hit with planning for college and the rest of my life. Councilors, teachers, coaches, parents, they all want me to do well and achieve my best. I start too stress about my grades, ACT score, Athletic Performance, Volunteer hours, and Leadership rolls in the community. Am I doing enough? Am in the top top twenty-five percent of students my age? Am I good enough to get in? All these question swirling around my head at any given moment. I need help sometimes to calm done and plan my future. Even hero need help sometimes, Batman needs Robin, Holmes needs Watson, and even Beowulf needed Wiglaf in the final
