“Being part of a unit that is safe, supportive, loving and provides all the resources needed for all members to live in a healthy and secure environment.” (Harrington, 2012). That is precisely how a family is described by the author of this article. It is found that if one feels as described, they will find a will and a way to survive. Not only will they do such, but they will pass these traits from one generation to the next.
All people need to be in a family where they feel accepted and wanted. They need the reinforcement(s) that no matter what they say or do, they will still be secure within the tribe.
