Overcoming Obstacles In A Family

When confronted by numerous obstacles in life, one must decide if they will accept the challenge, or if they will fall subject to the hardship. Americans are bombarded with threats everyday of our lives. Choosing to destroy them, or welcome them, is sometimes a mystery.

“Being part of a unit that is safe, supportive, loving and provides all the resources needed for all members to live in a healthy and secure environment.” (Harrington, 2012). That is precisely how a family is described by the author of this article. It is found that if one feels as described, they will find a will and a way to survive. Not only will they do such, but they will pass these traits from one generation to the next.

All people need to be in a family where they feel accepted and wanted. They need the reinforcement(s) that no matter what they say or do, they will still be secure within the tribe. If people are given a will and a way to overcome obstacles in life, not only will they succeed, they will flourish.
