Throughout my childhood, I overcame many challenges. One of the hardest challenges I overcame repeatedly was homelessness. My family and I faced many trials and tribulations that were, in a way, learning experiences so that I would not fall in the same footsteps as my mom. My mom has always told me that these issues are only temporary and that it would not be like this forever. The homelessness and the feeling of neglect came at an early age for me. When I was a toddler our only home was a car. We had no family support. When I was about the age of about 6, I could remember having to move around a lot and I never understood why I could not stay in one school and keep the same friends because I had to move all the time.
