I have some first-hand experience with failure. In fact, I experienced almost nothing but failure in Algebra I in eighth grade . Math has always been my weakest subject, so when Algebra I rolled around, I was set up for failure. My quiz grades were ghastly. My test grades were horrific. I couldn’t even do the daily warm-up problems. Somewhere along the line, my mom decided she didn’t want to see fifties anymore, so she sent me to lunch tutorials with my teacher. After every grade I made, I would go straight to my teacher to review
