Bill Clinton once said “It’s how you handle adversity, not how it affects you. The main thing is never quit, never quit, never quit.” Every person will eventually face adversity in their life. The person who chooses to face their adversity head on and overcome it, will be the most successful. When I was nine years old I was diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression, but I have chosen to face my adversity in order to overcome it. For many people mental illness is hard to understand if you haven’t been there yourself. Anxiety for me can manifest in various ways.
