These unfortunate circumstances left Giannis no choice but to provide for his family. After becoming a star in the Greek league, Giannis was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2013. This was great for him and his family, he was getting paid and sending every penny he made to Greece. This was nowhere near enough for Giannis, however. Giannis wanted to be the greatest player to touch basketball. So Giannis put himself through intense training day in and day out. In the years following, Giannis won two most valuable player awards and an NBA Championship. This never came easy for Giannis, he had no other option. For those given an opportunity like this, individuals will most likely not be as dedicated as they are.
