As a child growing up in a large household, the family has been always essential. Success was always preached but rarely followed. After finishing middle school, I came to the conclusion that I was going to do something that my other brothers and sisters didn't; go off to college and make my parents euphoric. Growing up I faced a great deal of adversity. Even though still to this day I didn't overcome them all, I also didn't let them put the dreams that I wanted to fulfill on hold.
