Over The Top Analysis

Different careers call to different types of people, be it working in at a desk or defending their country. This can be shown in the articles The Super Man Behind Super-Man, written by Bijal P. Trivedi and Over the Top, written by Rene Skelton. The article Over the Top talks about photographer Carson Peter and his job photographing dangerous places. The Spider Man Behind Spider-Man talks about Steven Kutcher and how he took his career of being an Entomologist though a twist and began to work in Hollywood. There are an array of similarities and differences between the two men's careers, along with this one of them obviously has the more dangerous job. This quote shows some of the movies Kutcher has worked on, showing that he is apart of the entertainment industry and some of the movies he worked in. In the back round text for Over the Top the text states, "...Peter has captured stunning images of glaciers, caves, and tornado pictures for the pages of National Geographic."(901). This piece of textual evidence shows how he works or a magazine company, which is part of the entertainment industry. The second reason similarity between the two of the men is that they both have patience. On page 894 Trivedi writes, "Entomologist need the intellect, curiosity, creativity, patience, and perseverance required..." Since Kutcher is an Entomologist, he has to have some, if not all of these qualities. Though the next piece of text does not directly state that Peter is a patient man, the readers must assume he is because of the line "The dare devil photographer roams the world..."(Skelton 904) Most photographers are patient because they have to wait for
