Outstanding Student Qualities

There are many factors that go into being an outstanding student. Factors like scholarship, service, character and leadership. Scholarship makes us proud. Service shows us to work hard. Character makes us who we are. Lastly leadership shows who we can be. All these factors tie into being a student who applies themselves into education and learning. But there is one more that holds all these principles together, commitment. Without commitment, none of these principles would be applicable. To me, all these characteristics go hand in hand with success. Success is something everyone aims for, no matter how immence the task is. Our group chose to check in with kids emotionally. To see how things at home or school, which can make them afraid to go to school. Our project was the one that advanced out of all of our school entries and one of five that goes to present in front of many people. Even though we did advance, we never stopped making our project better with the help of teachers and each other. We helped each other and dedicated a lot of time to make sure it was the best it could be. Then came the day when we presented it to many CEO of companies and important people. We set up our table and once the spectators came, we explained everything to them. They voted and our group advanced once again! Now it was another group and us who had to present in front of everyone. The other group ended up winning, but we were still extremely proud of ourselves for making it that far. That experience taught me about all the principles and how to apply them. I learned that lending a helping hand when someone needs it is better than not speaking up at
