Outside reading essay- Looking at Nothing
"Our eyes will not stop seeing, even when they have to invent the world from nothing" this quote true and could be seen as a metaphor. It reveals our underlying human nature, we can not help judging and acting on what we see or think, much like our eyes can not help seeing. Sometimes even if there is proof against someone's perception, it gets overlooked.
A great example of this would be prejudice, like racism. Even if there isn't any information behind someone's perception of another person, they are still able to create opinions out of nothing.
