Outside Beauty Isn't Everything At a young age, children are exposed to the media and other to celebrities who have unrealistic beauty standards. Girls, for example, begin to admire supermodels' figures, flawless skin, and "natural beauty." This leads to young ladies criticizing their weight, height, body shape, eye color, hair color, freckles and the list goes on and on. Media portrays that you must fit a certain mold of what is considered beautiful, and if you don't fit that mold you thought of as worthless. Although, if every individual had society's "ideal" beauty standards, wouldn't we find diversity beautiful? Wouldn't everyone envy whoever looks different from them?
