I've created, managed, and maintained personal and business calendars for most, if not all of my past employers. I even have experience managing and toggling between more than one person's schedule within a big company setting.

If I'm using Outlook, I take advantage of their integrated calendar tools and options. I assign different colors to different people or things to help me keep track of what else is happening while I'm working. When I get an assignment, I enter the due date in Outlook to plan my time wisely. I set recurring dates and reminders to help me keep on track on recurring assignments and appointments. I also love the ability to send meeting notices and track the emails by adding a read receipt confirmation request.

Discuss in another paragraph which of these tools, other than the monthly calendar tool, seem like a good choice(s) for your self-management system, including examples from your life of how you can use them. I have found, in the past, that I work well in an individually driven environment; however, I can certainly be productive in a team based setting as well.…
