Tutors will find posters and wall charts are a great tool for visual learners, they can be prepared in advance and can be placed in the classroom permanently which is an advantage for reflective learners.
Learners find that using more than one method of learning embeds information more effectively; permanent learning aids in the classroom can be referred to by the student at any time, and visual aids can make a lesson more interesting.
Posters and wall charts need to be purchased, ordered or designed this takes time and planning by the tutor. Posters and wall charts need to be used in the correct environment a prepared learning. Students may find the design of the poster or wall chart distracting.
Handouts are used by many tutors they are popular as they can be prepared in advance, Can control information students receive and can be taken home by students and used as a study aid.
Students may find these useful as they can be read at leisure, they may contain more detailed information than taught in class and
