Iodine, also known as I, and the atomic number 53. It was found 1811. It's color is greenish-yellow but at normal room temperature, it turns into a gas and the color turns purple.
Iodine is also used for a lot of things. Such as salts, chemicals, foods, photographic films, e.t.c.
Iodine is added to nearly any kind of salt that is applied. Iodine is also added to bread, fishes and water plants. Iodine is naturally in the ocean and some fishes and water plants will store Iodine in their tissues. Iodine's melting point is 113.7 C. Iodine's boiling point
