Introduction: Paragraph 1:
The cheetah is one of the most unique type of animal in the world. They have black spots over their body. If one looks at their face closely they will see that there tear marks that make spots on their face. Cheetahs have an uncommon body length of 3.5 to 4.5. The way their spots are laid out on their bodies dignifies what group they are in. Cheetah claws are different from others of their kind. Cheetahs cannot pull back their claws into their paws. In doing so overtime their claws will get dull and will make them almost impossible to climb up a tree. Their body structure is a different variant of cats. The mother is a loner when it comes to hunting. Cheetahs live in Sub-Sharan Africa. They could also be found in Southern Algeria. Cheetahs like dry, open grasslands where they can use their speed as an advantage. They use the open plains as camouflage for their prey come by. Only disadvantage is there are tree where their prey could climb and escape. The cheetah has a lot of prey. Big cats like the cheetah will usally go for the smaller type of animals. Cheetahs will usually go for gazelles and impalas. They will usually hunt during day or dusk. When a cheetah gets its prey it will hide it so other animals will take its kill. Cheetahs are carnivores so that means that their main food source. Cheetahs are also predators like lions, tiger and humans. The most important in recent decades have had conflicts with humans and habitat loss. With humans living and repopulating in Africa that would mean they would meat and food to survive. Cheetahs would be targeted for meat. Cheetahs are the experts when it comes to hunting fast, agile prey in broad daylight. Capable of reaching zero to one hundred km in seconds.
