B. “Chemotherapy is the use of anticancer drugs designed to slow or stop the growth of rapidly dividing cancer cells” within the breast” (CTCA, 2015). 1. It is used as a prime treatment to kill breast cancer cells (CTCA, 2015). 2. In advance, before any other treatments as a way to decrease the tumor (CTCA, 2015). 3. Also, preceding other treatments in order to get rid of all the lingering cancer cells (CTCA, 2015). 4. It is also used to “relieve symptoms of the advanced staged cancer” (CTCA, 2015, para. 1).
