Abortion Essay Intro: A women in pain stumbles up to a clinic. She is desperate and wishes to terminate her pregnancy quickly, because she is not able to care for a child. This termination of pregnancy is called abortion, and it has been an issue for years, with both sides having passionate argument about these rights, and what should be done about it. On January 22, 1973, the court case Roe V. Wade made abortion legal, but the argument still stands strong with pro-life defendants fighting against this decision. Abortion is a human right that should stay legal because it gives women control over their own bodies, it allows for professional abortions that decrease injuries and deaths, and women who are allowed to get abortions are less likely to suffer from mental health problems than women denied abortions.
