The owner of the castle is Chester Thorne, who built to present Anna beloved wife. In 1907, Chester bought a 400 year old Elizabethan Mansion in England and then dismantled and transported each brick from England to the United States to build Thornewood Castle. They took 3 years to complete the castle.
