Outline For A Final Speech Class

After completing the final speech, I’ve learned multiple tips of what to do from the previous speeches. The topic was very appropriate for the occasion. Reason being is because this speech was dedicated to the one who I admire and appreciate, which is my grandmother. The topic was appropriate for the audience because I gave them great detail on how my grandmother cared for me and how she comforted me in situations. She has shaped me into the person I am today. I believe I have dealt with the topic creatively because I have explained how she comforted me when I was outside by myself waiting on the school bus. I have also stated how she would lift me up when I was vulnerable in school. I have gained attention and interest of the audience. Reason being is because I have asked a question pertaining to who they admire in life? …show more content…
I have created my main points and then went into great detail about them. I believe I have used connectives effectively. I have used transitional words to change the main points appropriately. I have concluded the speech in a memorable fashion. I have stated a quote towards the end of the speech that I would never forget. The quote states, ““Say it before you run out of time, say it before it’s too late, say what you’re feeling. Waiting is a mistake” (A Fresh Start). The reason why I choose this quote because it reminds me of how much I should inform my grandmother on how much I love and appreciate her. I believe my language was clear and concrete.
