Out Of Fire Alternate Ending

Out of nowhere a small black figure darted in front of his Range Rover. Louis gasped hearing the impact of the body hitting the car. He quickly slammed on the brakes to stop the car. His head jerked forward as he gripped the steering wheel.

“Fuck, fuck, fuck…” Louis mumbled to himself as he frantically unbuckled his seatbelt. He jumped out of the car and made his way to the front of the Rover. The rural road was surrounded by a thick line of trees that blocked any moonlight from entering. Since it was almost pitch black outside Louis’s only light source the headlights from his Rover. And to make the entire situation worse light freezing rain was beginning to fall.

A small boy was lying down in the middle of the street curled into himself. He held a bag to his chest and let out a broken whimper. His right leg began to twitch slightly. The mysterious boy suddenly threw his head back hitting it on the concrete and let out a loud cry. He squeezed his eyes tightly shut again and whimpered quietly to himself. Louis hovered over the boy and then dropped to his knees. The older boy placed his hand on the boys chest trying to calm him. The boy slowly opened them again and stared at Louis in utter

The knee of the twitching leg was bleeding and beginning to drip down his pant leg. He also began to notice the boy breaths sounded painful and became shorter each time. He wore only a rusty colored beanie that hid his matted hair and a thin white sweater. He wore no shoes only a dirty pair of socks.

Thinking fast Louis removed his flannel and pressed it against his injured knee soaking up the blood. The boy cried out throwing his head back again. He quickly placed his hand behind the boy's head so he didn’t injure himself more. The boy gripped onto Louis’s arm and grit his teeth together trying to hide the pain.

Louis posistoned the boy with his head resting in his lap and he put his arm on the boys
