Decent Essays
The good points have been that Mr. Stout gives us time during class to work and he is very reasonable with his due dates and pushes back deadlines if necessary. The out-of-class work was good, but a majority of the work I did on my essays I worked on in-class. The project work was not horrible, was not my favorite but I learned through the experience. Project work, I say, was the hardest to do in this class. Just because it is hard working with certain people and it is exceptionally hard when others do not do what they are suppose to do. The only bad points have been when there are technical difficulties. The major one would have to be switching our essays from google chrome to microsoft word, or once when I tried

My first project was about Al Capone and he was a super fun person to learn about. I wrote an essay and made a blueprint of the Alcatraz cell house. A cool fact I learned was that Al Capone was responsible for putting expiration dates on milk bottles. Figuring out the project process was a bit hard at first, but as time continued to move it got a lot easier. When you figure it out it gets a lot easier.…

I have been enrolled at Copiah-Lincoln Community College for less than four months and am the first in my family to go to college. While these circumstances may lead some to repudiate my authority on the matter, I can assure all that the time I've had has been more than enough to create a proper review. Campus life is one area that has defined my experience attending a college. Co-Lin does not have the most alluring campus I have ever visited and, unfortunately, becoming lost is in no way challenging. Until recently, I have unintentionally made a habit of passing my classroom at least twice before realizing where I was.…

Constructing my portfolio and building my journal on Edna St. Vincent Millay has been a fascinating journey. I have been able to learn about one of the most influential writers of the 1920's, and put myself in her shoes through the one passion we share the most, writing. I believe overall my history portfolio was fairly well constructed. The part I am most proud of was the Political, Social, and Economic Change graphic organizer. I spent a great deal of time on it and talked to my grandfather about the cause and effect of the great depression.…

In college, classes and papers will fly by faster than in this class, so I feel lucky to have the opportunity to feel the college paper writing experience. I also this this class taught me to work hard and never give anything less than 100 percent. Taking this class has helped me improve my skills and techniques as a writer, and I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead in Composition…
