My first question was asking if people cared too much about numbers. What I meant by that was if people thought that the numbers in their life, for example: weight, test scores, likes on a picture were too important to them. Bailey thought for a second, and nodded her head yes. She went on to say that you should care about certain numbers in your life, but don’t get too overwhelmed by them. She used the work place as an example and said that if a job opening comes up and one hundred people apply for it, they’re not going to give everybody an interview, they’re going to look at qualification scores and narrow it down from there. Bailey said, in that situation it’s a good thing to worry about the number you’re presenting. When asked if people were too obsessed with themselves, she said they weren't obsessed with themselves, but are rather obsessed with how others view them. People base their self worth off of how many likes a picture gets and how others view or think of them, and it’s becoming a big problem for many people and can create insecurities. In addition to worrying about how many likes a photo gets, another thing that can create insecurities is the pictures we see on tv, in magazines, and online. I asked Bailey if she thought the idea of “the perfect body” has changed over the years, and she said yes, it has definitely changed. Photoshop has allowed people to distort
