Otzi's Obituary

Decent Essays
The Iceman, Otzi, was in battle before he was killed. While the Iceman was being inspected scientist found that he had a thumb wound, which were fresh because there were no scarring found. This led to them thinking her was faced with hand to hand combat, because they also found bone damage being in his wrist. This means he was fighting another person before he died. Addinaly when Otzi was further examined it was discovered that their was a arrow head or a piece of stone found lodged deep in his back. This could have also been a cause from battle because he was also found with arrows, some unfinished. It is thought that he was in battle and was unable to repair, or make more before he died.

Clayton Kershaw is on the mend from a lower back injury, but before the All-Star break, he was looking like the presumptive NL Cy Young winner. Unfortunately, he still hasn’t made it back from his injury, but it seems like he will be returning pretty soon. If I was going to go out on a prediction on what day he will return, it would probably be in this upcoming week. Clayton Kershaw finished off the first half of the season with a 1.79 ERA, 0.73 WHIP, and an impressive 9 walks in 121 innings played. If Kershaw can return with similar numbers, he will definitely be the front runner for the NL Cy Young Award and possibly the NL MVP.…

Obituary of the Good Ole Days Imagine a little league baseball coach- a middle-aged man with graying hair and the faint odor of barbecue sauce lingering on his cargo shorts. He towers over his team of scrappy second graders and looks down with disapproval. Instead of encouraging the children to play to their strengths and enjoy the game, he tirelessly ridicules the young players for having more advanced bats and gloves than he did. Back in his day, he had to make do with a wooden bat and a worn-out glove passed down from his older brother.…

There were two questions that I felt were the most beneficial, and these were both the question that asked me to write my own obituary and the question that asked me to write a list of things that “stress me out”. I believe the question that asked me to write my own obituary was one of the most beneficial questions because this question allowed me to reflect upon my past and the events that have shaped my life to this point. This question also allowed me to think about how I wanted to live the rest of my life. Writing my hypothetical obituary allowed me to realize that I want to live a long life, filled with many rich experiences, such as getting married, having children, and making a difference in the world. This question led me to realize…
