Othello's Character Traits

The character I will be discussing is Cassio, the lieutenant. It is mentioned that Cassio is too trusting in what people says which is why it is so easy for Iago to deceive him. It is a proven fact that he is due to the scenes where Iago manipulates him into doing exactly what he wants. Cassio mentions to Iago that he has very poor drinking habits and convinces him to get drunk that he convinces him to go fight Rodrigo which leads to him loosing his lieutenant position. You would think after someone had caused you to loose your job you wouldn't have any trust in them anymore but, even after this huge debacle Cassio still trusts Iago and continues to feed him information! An additional character trait that Cassio portrays is that he is a handsome
