Osvaldo's Impact On My Life

Decent Essays
My bestfriend Osvaldo has had the greatest impact in my life because he's the one who showed me how to open my heart to Jesus. He pushed me enough to go too church again and receive the rest of my sacraments. He also taught me how to love myself in a way I never realized it was possible. Osvaldo impacted my life in a positive way due to who he was as a person. He was kind, gentle, loving, compassionate, understanding and I was kind of intimated by him because I never met such a nice guy before. I wanted to be more like him but in a girl version. Osvaldo was very patient with me when it came down to my conversion for Jesus and never pressured me into doing something I didn't want to do. Osvaldo molded me into the person I am today and I am forever

She has made me realize that courage is more than just a word. Courage, is the ability to do something that frightens you and to never give up. She has opened my eyes to the fact that helping others is more rewarding than it seems. I believe that her acts of moral courage have already influenced me and have changed my views on the simple things such as volunteering. For example, my best friend happens to have type 1 diabetes and we are trying to raise awareness of this disease, as well as, support newly diagnosed diabetic children.…

Existentialism: I was born on February 24, 1998. When I came into this life I already had four older brothers and a loving mother and father. Over the years I always had someone to look up to and admire as I continued to learn and grow. My brothers may not have always been the best examples in regards to the choices they made but they did their best to keep me on the right track for being the best person I could possibly be. Like Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, they taught me to have fun with life and enjoy the little things before it was too late.…

Most of all, not having a dad while growing up, he did a fine job filling in, loving me and making me the man I am today.…

Jordan Holley Trowbridge has made a big impact on my life. She is kind, loving, patient, generous, supportive, achiever, humorous, amazing friend, phenomenal braider, and outdoorsman. She always is willing to stick up for someone else, even if she has never met them, she never has put her own needs in front of those around her and will always go the extra mile for someone else. I met her a few years ago at a church service project at a local elementary school soccer day camp. Jordan and I were sent about a half hour before it was time to eat, to get the kids the lunch we had made for them, plus ten full drink coolers, plates napkins, and cups.…

The most influential person in my life was someone I never got to meet was my grandmother her name was Honey Sanguinetti because she died before I was born, I only have photos to see what she looked like at my age, very tall with long black hair, my father told me that she had chocolate-brown eyes just like me, and a deep tan complexion. That is all I know about because she died when my father was about five and my grandfather in no longer alive, but I do know that she had a kind soul and she wasn’t afraid to speak her mind if she saw something happening that she thought was wrong. From photos and stories, I have found that she loved horses so much that she started to rescue them, like her own horse a large Hanoverian gelding by the name of Thunder-head. Nevertheless, even though she couldn’t afford to start her own rescue center, she still wanted to help horses. She even wrote down everything she did with the horses in a bunch of journals.…

One person has always had the power to make a difference in another’s life. Whether that be a family member teaching a little one kindness, or even on a bigger scale Martin Luther King Jr. leading a revolution to the acceptance of people with different colored skin. Even bad people can make a change for the good, like a school shooter who makes schools realize they need a plan in place for an attack on their students. One person can change the way others think entirely and can impact their lives in a major way. Lori Ann Heyden, my grandmother, had made a huge impact in my life.…
