Osprey Village Program Evaluation Paper

Step one of the program evaluation is to identify goals and desired outcomes. The primary goal of Osprey Village provide a community that enables people with disabilities to maximize their independence while being around other residents who are caring and loving. Another goal of the problem is parents know their child is in a safe community with friendship social interaction. Making sure child will still get care if something happens to their loved one. Another goal is resident gain skills, guidance and gifts. The target group is parents of child or relative with disabilities, the community, low income families, local citizen, and government agencies. The desired outcomes is being able to accept most villagers as majority of state and local programs have a waitlist. Reduced the cost of healthcare and stress. Increased jobs and training. A secured neighborhood close to shopping and entertainment. More of a positive attitude, being accepted by others and gaining on the job skil.ls to further knowledge.

The desired impact of decreasing the wait list will help the state programs. Which can be measured by finding out how many people are on the list since the program started compared with the previous year. The desired impact of decreased in parent stress can be measured by stress test, eating habits and a blood test. The desired impact of increased safety of the Osprey community can be measured by the amount of stress and entertainment that’s within walking distance. Also, making sure jobs are not a far drive from the village. Another desired impact is increased social interaction can be measured by the number of attendance from events such as the Pro
