This reveals how the Jews lived in the factory and how they were truly treated a bit better than they would have been in concentration camps. He allowed them to spend the night at the factory in March 1943 when the liquidation of Krakow ghetto was happening (Oskar Schindler). This explains how Schindler tried the best to save Jews from concentration camps, stating why he needed them, and the Jews were liberated to him. “So he decides to risk everything in desperate attempts to save "his" 1200 Schindler Jews from certain death in the hell of the death camps” (Oskar Schindler 2). This states how Schindler risk all that he had in order to give …show more content…

This asserts how he could no longer be the old Oskar Schindler, he used to be, he had to find a way to make a living but being a film producer wasn’t a success for him. His failures kept occurring one after another, he suddenly went bankrupt and returned to Germany without Mrs. Schindler in 1957 (Keneally 392). Through this piece of evidence, it shows how he made so many sacrifices for the Jews and a few years later he was left without anything. There were multiple survivors who lived to tell their side of the story of the heroic actions of Schindler, Leon Leyson. One of the youngest survivor from Schindler, says Schindler made sure he received double the proportion of food and let him know that his life was valuable even though he was at a very young age (The Boy Saved).
