He just wanted his company to succeed. He was accompanied by another Nazi member, Amon Goeth. After time, Schindler's perspective changed and he viewed the workers in his camp not as animals anymore, but as mother's, father’s, and children. Once he realized he had the opportunity to save many lives he changed his ways and tried to save as many Jews as he could.
With everything tying together, Schindler created a list of Jews he wanted to keep at his camp. He was able to do this by buying off the Gestapo’s. As a result, Schindler had to pay for each worker he wanted to keep. He risked his life saving over a thousand Jews. He not only saved their life but he saved many generations to come.
Although Schindler started his company and recruiting Jewish workers to make money, his perspective changed. He then viewed his workers as mothers, and fathers. He realized his camp was viewed as a safe haven for the Jewish community. Schindler did not save many people compared to how many died, but he did save as much as he could. He changed history because he showed people methods they can use if the holocaust were to happen again. We can all study and learn from this. Every deed counts and Schindler proved it. One man saved many
