A hero is a person that honors their word. That is selfless. That puts others before themselves. That is what a hero is to me. And to me, Oskar Schindler from The Boy on The Wooden Box, and Bruno from The Boy in The Striped Pajamas, is ultimately the definition of a hero. “Saves one life, saves the world entire.” - Oskar Schindler. The words from a hero.
In The Boy on The Wooden, Oskar Schindler displays heroism because he is selfless and puts other before himself. “Somehow Oskar Schindler did achieve the seemingly impossible. He handed out massive bribes to the Nazis in command of Auschwitz, all the while arguing that the women were “experts,” “highly trained,” and “irreplaceable.” Incredibly, his efforts succeeded, and the women were loaded
