The Lehigh Valley Phantoms have had their fair share of high-end prospects make their way through town over the past seasons. This season is no different for the Phantoms who welcome three high powered offensive prospects to their ranks.
Oskar Lindblom
The 6-foot-1, 198-pound left winger does have American Hockey League experience playing in eight games scoring seven points at just age 19, in 2015-16 following his Swedish hockey season with Brynäs IF. Oskar Lindblom returned to Sweden following his ATO.
He would take the hockey world and the Swedish Hockey League by storm last season. The 6-foot-2, 206 pound, the center has professional experience playing in the KHL Russia’s top league, he scored 3 goals, and 8 assists in 44 games played last season for Salavat Yulaev Ufa. The playmaking center left his native Russia this off-season to sign an Entry Level Contract with the Philadelphia Flyers un-route to an NHL career. The Ufa native has found the score sheet this season for Lehigh collecting his first North American pro point; he has one point in two games thus far.
Highly Skilled Trio of Rookies.
The Lehigh Valley Phantoms who look to continue their momentum following their first playoff berth in franchise history a season ago. The Phantoms have improved each season since they have arrived from Philadelphia but have yet to escape the first round of the postseason.
