While researching Isis on the Ancient History Encyclopedia Web site, I found it interesting that she wore a headdress of an empty throne after her husband Osiris was murdered. I think this is an important detail to know because it shows her devotion to her husband, even after his death. I also really found it interesting the details provided about how Isis was able to find a pillar, created by the tree that kept dead Osiris inside. Unfortunately, even though she was able to cut her dead husband from the pillar and carry him back to Egypt, while she looked for herbs to make a potion to bring him back to life, his brother cut Osiris to pieces and scattered them across the land.
