Saudi Arabia removed his citizenship Osama Bin Laden's citizenship. This came from international tension. Bin Laden decided it was better to leave for Afghanistan where he would receive protection. Osama Bin Laden threatened the current president at the time, Barack Obama to fight against the al-Qaeda. He created a video take as long as 10 minutes with the threats. The United States forces pursuited him for many years. It was known he was hiding in Afghanistan or in Pakistan. On May 2,2011 he was found hiding in a compound which was invaded by the United States forces. He was killed by the Navy SEALS around 1:00 am when captured. Not only was he killed but also was other terrorist like, Khalid Bin Laden and Abu Ahmed al-Kuwaiti. There he was taken for evaluation to check if it was actually him. This type of operation to capture him was called the “Operation Neptune Spear”. They continued his Islamic rituals by burying him within 24 hours of his death. Although 90% of Americans were extremely glad that the United States captured one of the most dangerous persons in the world when the al-Qaeda found out the news about the death of their founder and leader they were furious.
