On May 2, 2011, President Barack Obama gave the announcement that proved the rumors true: Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden aka Osama bin Laden, the mastermind behind the devastating attacks on September 11, 2001 and bombings on the U.S embassy in Nairobi, Kenya and Salaam, Tanzania on August 7, 1998 (https://www.fbi.gov). Osama bin laden was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on March 10, 1957 (http://www.history.com). He was the 17th child of 54 born to Muhammad Bin Laden (http://www.history.com). He was very privileged growing up (http://www.history.com). While most of his siblings went to work for their father, Osama decided to stay close to home (http://www.history.com). He went to school in Jiddah. He was recognised as an outstanding student and was offered to join an islamic study group.
