In junior high and high school, I played sports so I learned how to organize and manage my time effectively. I have also been an open and friendly person to strangers. This one time a person was lost is the area and they came up to me and asked me for a bit of help, in which I had helped them find their destination.

So, when I was too old to be a camper there, the high schoolers will be assisting the counselors to do their job, and I was given the chance to experience to every grade level and how every grade behaves and interacts with one another, and every time I was in a group of campers they always listened and were enthusiastic in my presence. I was excited to find out that the first day of the week that the campers truly liked me, and it has directed me to become friendlier to people and granted me with improved social skills. Working with kids is much different than working with adults, children are often more energetic and less likely to retain information you present to them. In math class I had failed a couple of tests throughout the year. So, during homeroom, I began to retake these tests. After I took the tests I received an A and 2 B’s on them, and it has taught me to correct my mistakes and own them. My parents always exclaimed that I should own my mistake rather than to sweep it under the rug. Not to mention, that if you don’t meet your own expectations, then it makes absolutely no sense not to try to meet said expectations. Through my experience with the previously mentioned summer camp as well as my involvement in school sports, it has educated in me the importance of teamwork to achieve a goal together, similar to my experience in track, I run a few of the relays, and nobody can achieve that goal individually. Opposed to other times when you are by yourself and you will be your only motivator in certain situations. Such as, a New Year's resolution or wanting to adopt a new lifestyle, the list goes on and on. You always should strive to be hard working, you can always give 100%, so why settle for less than
