Off the shore of the great island nation of Nova,
Orlando a noble and beloved prince fought to keep his kingdom together.
Orlando’s father had recently passed. The kingdom searched for a new ruler.
The tribal elders held a closed door meeting to determine the best option for the people of Nova.
“Being an island nation, we must have someone who is capable in battle,” the first elder said.

“They will need to command the respect of the people while also doing their best to protect our interest should the need arise,” the second elder said.

“I don’t think Orlando is ready.
His cousin, Dante, is a much worthier choice,” the first elder said.

And so the elders told Orlando of his quest to gather the Trinity and bring it back to the tribal elders.

Orlando eagerly agreed to pursue the quest for the the Trinity, praying to Athena, Hermes, and Zeus to guide him.
He began his journey by traveling to the east.
He came to rest at the east coast of the island nation and sat down at the water’s edge.

As he meditated on how to find a piece of the Trinity, Hermes appeared to him.

In the “Second Night” of Perry’s dialogue, Sam Miller takes another, more confident attempt in proving to his friend Gretchen Weirob that there’s even the slightest possibility of life after death. Sam begins by revaluating his idea of personal identity, and how it exists without bodily identity, meaning both are different. Sam then refines the Blue River analogy. He explains that one may see the river from two different areas, with different levels of pollution and hundreds of miles apart, yet they are still two parts to make the same river. Even though the water molecules are not the same ones seen at both parts, you are still seeing the same river because they are connected by stretches of water.…

I’ve usually learned in hard way because frankly, I love to challenge myself to expand my personal capacity. Although I had already talked to one of my classmates about having interview with her as a Caucasian woman, I decided to do it with my cousin’s friend, Jacob, who I met in my place for the first time during Thanksgiving holidays. Interviewing Jacob about his interactions with other cultures has made me realize that I have a lot to learn about the meaning of the privilege and holding it. Jacob was a 24-year-old Caucasian, who lived in Missouri his entire life. Though he was visiting California for the second time in his life, he was in a Persian house for the first time.…
