How To Organize A Closet Essay

Deciding to organize your closet can be an amazing decision if you allow it to be. This process can shave off hours of pillaging for a certain item of clothing, which will allow you to spend this time more productively; however, if you do not make a commit to the maintenance of your closet, chaos will strike and the organization will disintegrate. One must always keep in mind that there is multiple ways to organize a closet, and my suggestions may not be the best rout for you to take. Before attacking all the clothes, shoes, and other messes in your bedroom closet, you need to make a commitment to yourself and anyone else that shares the closet with you; such commitment will be that you will take the time and energy to clean and maintain the organization of the closet at any time. This means that if you do get your closet organized, generally speaking, it will stay like this on a day-to-day basis. Once this decision is made, It is time to get to work. Before starting the process, some materials need to be gathered. This list includes: gloves, trash bags, vacuum cleaner, boxes, a ladder, and color-coated hangers. The gloves are incase you find some old mysterious lunch meat or other weird things. Trash bags are handy for throwing away any trash-related items or unusable clothing items; for instance, old homework or socks with holes in them. Although a ladder is not necessary, it is helpful for short people like me who …show more content…
If you own a hamper to put dirty or clean clothes in I suggest you start using it properly. I say this because many people throw their dirty clothes into their closet and don’t have them when they need them. If you do not own a hamper, that is fine; you can rig up a few trash bags or big pillow cases to the back of the closet doors with whatever strong strings, clips, and nails you
