This assignment consists of analysis of organizational leadership style assessment of a textbook company named The Training Company Ltd (TCL), analysis of the intrinsic and extrinsic rewards introduced by Mr. Strandebarm in the given case and analysis of organizational climate of Walmart.

A) Individualism Vs Collectivism
It is the degree to which individual integrated into groups and dealing with outsiders. The Walmart employees who represent the US represent highly individualistic culture. People reflecting those culture feel comfortable with dealing with strangers. In contrast European culture is relatively individualistic, so Europeans actually didn’t want to be assisted by sales associates in the stores. Moreover, the Europeans customers were likely to shop with local stores Rema and Kiwi (Local brands in Norway) rather than Walmart. In another perspective the employees also wanted to work under local management rather than American one.
B) Uncertainty Avoidance
It is the degree to which members in society tolerate with uncertainty and ambiguity. The Norwegian society is high uncertainty avoidance in contrast to Wal-Mart culture.
