One of the most popular fears among most culturally religious individuals is whether or not it is against religious and how they appear upon death. However according to the Mayo Clinic, organ donation is accepted and supported by all the main Christian divergence branches Including Judaism and Islam. Additionally all medical treatments will be covered by clothing which will still allow an open casket (Mayo). In addition to religious fears people have a misconception about treatment that would be obtained if they were to become ill or need a transplant. The fact is a doctor is required to treat everyone justly and do their best to save every patient (Don’t). Along with the doctors seeing everyone as equals our donor system treats everyone equally and doesn’t discriminate (Mayo). Given the medical assumption people are concerned about health and age in relevance to being accepted to be a donor. Yes, there is some restrictions but age and most diseases won’t restrict the use of tissue donations (Assumptions). More over the fears we have about winding up on the black market are inaccurate with respect in the context pertaining to the United States. Organ black markets reside only in a minute number of developing countries and pose no major threats to Americans (Morgan 781). With regards to the enlightening information that is available to the public we need to spread the real information about organ donations to the millions of people who aren’t donors. Conceptually if we each spread the word to one hundred social media follower and ten spreads it to 100 and etc. the number of new downers would be astronomical. However it takes one person to want to make a difference and inform one person about how they could save one life today. How will you make a difference
