Ordinary World
Peter Parker is a high school student. He is nerdy and is bullied. Peter is an orphan, he lives with his aunt and uncle. Peter has 2 best friends, Harry and Mary Jane.
Meeting of the Mentor
Peter’s mentor is Uncle Ben. Uncle Ben doesn’t know exactly what’s going on, but he is the closest person in Peter’s life and gives him all of his advice.
Call to Adventure
Peter’s class goes on a field trip to a laboratory and Peter gets bitten by a genetically modified spider. Peter’s genetics change, giving him “spider-like” powers.
Refusal of Call
Peter doesn’t know what to do with his new powers. He’s doesn’t know if he should use them or not. He decides not to, and stays with his ordinary life. Even when he gets bullied he doesn’t use them.
Crossing of the Threshold

Mentor "To Guide"
Uncle Ben is the mentor of the story. He gave Peter the advice he needed in order to succeed and save innocent people. Uncle Bens advice also helped Peter find himself and deal with his internal conflict.
Shadow "To Destroy"
Green Goblin is the shadow of the story. He wants to kill peter and kills innocent people, Peter is trying to stop him in the story
Herald "To Inform"
The genetically modified spider is the herald in the story. The spider is the thing that gives Peter his power and gives him the opportunity to be Spiderman
Threshold Guardians "To Test"
Uncle bens killer is the threshold guardian. He is the one that pushes peter to use his powers and influences him to save others
Shapeshifter "To Deceive"
Harry Osborne is the trickster. He treats harry in different ways and doesn’t stay a true friend to harry.
Trickster "To Disrupt"
Mary Jane is the trickster. She makes Peter have internal conflict and have emotional
