The strengths of the industry are its global dominance and production system. Approximately 50% of orange juice came from Brazil (Gallas, 2017). At the same time, a citrus tree illness in Florida cemented Brazil's global domination (Gallas, 2017). Furthermore, the industry has factories all over the world which reduces the risks of depending on one manufacturer only (Gallas, 2017). While breakfast and juice threats exist, opportunities are also present. China is a large market that the industry can tap through a joint venture with popular beverage companies. Added to this is beverage demand from children and teenagers that can be increased through the right marketing
