Over the next week or two, we are working on:
MATH - rounding 2, 3 and 4 digit numbers to the nearest tens
MATH - representing numbers in different ways (e.g., in place value charts, using base-10 blocks, using greater than and less than, on number lines, in equations, in expanded form 4000+200+50+3, in words, etc.)
MATH - we are working on checking for errors before submitting our work. Many students handed in their bar graphs last week without checking them. They would've had higher marks on their graphs if only they had checked for small errors.
LANGUAGE - We are working on orally sharing paragraphs about ourselves and about Pow Wows (a Native ritual). This will help us develop good speaking and presentation skills, and also learn
