It was undeniable that this man was quite grandiose. Joe, the name he told Seth was his, was a staggering 7 feet tall, and weighing what seemed to be well over 300 pounds of solid muscle. He was a powerful man, but not one as you might expect. He told Seth his profession was an archaeologist, not some type of athlete as Seth thought he could be. Seth was

The fight seemed to last forever. Strike after blow, each man kept on fighting for their life. It was tough for the young hero, being only six feet and one inch tall, and two-hundred five pounds in weight, he was not as strong, but much quicker than the giant of a man. In the end, the hero, Seth Rollins, was victorious. Ending with a final blow to the head, he decided to leave the arena with the incapacitated man, near death still inside. He was humbled by his experiences and left the arena untouched, with the exception of the golden, diamond encrusted champion belt he found there in the arena. Seth was an honorable man with respect. He quit his profession at WWE wrestling and went along with his life in a much more normal way. His whole adventure was a learning experience, and he decided making friends, not enemies, was the best way to leave his life. Kane died from his injuries in the ring. Seth’s final enemy was the one that truely touched his conscious about his

Sitting at my desk, I stared down at my schoolwork while my mind remained static. Suddenly, I found myself beginning to radiate golden light as my body faded from existence; then before I knew it, I rematerialized out of thin air. This does not happen often, so I was rather confused as I stood atop a cloud, high up in the sky. That is, until I noticed a large, human-like figure appear before me in a holy light. He raised his hands and smiled down at me before bellowing out, “Behold, for it is I; Gabe Newell!”…

Joseph Campbell, the creator of the hero’s journey, did a lot of research on ancient mythology. He discovered that many heroes travel the same paths to becoming a hero. Campbell decided that heroes come across many challenges that are put into stages and in those stages the hero grows closer to the reward at the end. I am definitely not a hero, but my journey of finding Christ and giving my life to him has absolutely made me into a better person overall.
