Oprah Winfrey's Tough Life

In the spite of fact that Oprah Winfrey had a tough life, knowing she was a very strong girl who never gave up that easily. It’s like there’s challenge in front of her, and wouldn’t back down to it. She would actually try and face it. Without much support of her family, Oprah decided it was up to her to make the most her life better. There really wasn’t nothing exciting at the beginning of her life because it kind of started off when she was a newborn baby. Everything happened including the divorce of her parents once very soon after her birth. She was born in the hands of both teenage parents who his father left both her and her mother, living in poverty for 6 years. Oprah’s grandmother allowed both of them to stay at her house for six whole years. She would help her read at the age three but would hit her with a stick if she misbehaved or didn’t do the chores. Later, her mother didn’t have money to buy her clothes for Oprah to wear to school, so most of her clothes that Oprah would wear were made out of potato sacks that her mother would make. She felt like she couldn’t overcome the issues she was facing at that time. She overcame adversity by making a choice thinking it was mostly up to her to make the most of her life and that was the best decision she made. After Oprah overcame the adversity, she understand she was a strong girl and realized that she didn’t always need the support from family, but others including God. At that time, she now knew that there was something or someone there to help at all times.
