Oprah Winfrey: The Qualities Of An Effective Leader

Some people are naturally born as strong leaders while others grow to become one. For example children who naturally can confess something bad that they have done knowing they will get in trouble, but are brave enough to tell the truth and have enough reason to tell right from wrong are most likely going to be strong leaders who will help those around themselves and try to make the best choices to get to the life that they dream of having or the person they dream of becoming. While those who grew to become a strong leader most likely faced a very difficult time in their life and instead of giving up and settling decided to keep fighting and had it in them to get up move on and keep going.

Strong leaders share many similar characteristics. I would say that they would have to be brave because someone who is scared and cannot motivate themselves to be brave would not be able to motivate others either. A great leaders has to be able to be honest, without honesty their is no trust and others would not be sure if they can trust and believe in him. Being helpful is also a needed characteristic of a strong leader because that means that they are willing to take the time to give help to others and they are not thinking of only themselves. For example Oprah Winfrey is known for being a strong leader who sets great examples for others and is also known for being one of the first African American billionaires, even though she grew up in poverty she managed to work her way up to where she wanted to be in life and along the way influenced and helped others too. Just like Oprah their are many other famous people who have worked hard not letting anything stop them to get to where they want to be and when they get there have used their power in good ways like to help, influence, and motivate others around
