Oprah Gail Winfrey was born in a rural town of Kosciusko,Mississippi on January 29, 1954.Winfrey moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the age of 6 to live with her mother.She was so poor she wore potato sacks to school.Then in her early teens she was sent to Nashville to live with her father, a positive influence in her life.
