An introduction is not required for the celebrity I would want to meet. She has a special place in everyone’s heart and is adored by millions across America and the world. Oprah Winfrey should be the prestige star to be featured in this special issue and I should be able to meet and interview her. Oprah has affected this whole nation. She leads the hope for everyone and she shows indomitable spirit. Despite being raised in a indigent lifestyle, being sexually harassed, abused, and struggling with racism , she is now one of the most high and well known person in the U.S. She didn’t let stardom overshadow her amiable personality as she helps funds many research works and charities. She knows how to choose wisely, follow her dreams, and make things come true. Her brain is filled with a lifelong supply of lessons and advices. When Oprah was six to nine, her many gears and trepidation came to life. She had been sexually assaulted by various family members and also abused. She ran away from home at the age of 13, no one to guide her and no system of support she builded her own empire. Her dad attempted to rehabilitate her and lead her into the path she only dreamt of and attracted. Oprah Winfrey never had it easy, her life was filled with people who despised her and didn’t cherish her due to her skin tone. Threats were sent to her as her media life exploded. No one thought a young girl who went in and out of juvenile centers could make it to become the youngest African American news anchor. This lead to inspire many African American woman who felt disregarded to “do something,” and that they had the power to make a change. Her popularity lead her to her having her own talk show host that became the highest rank talk show. She overcame the tragedies and constructed her own now seem to be perfect world with a net worth of 3
