This country was built by hard working families, whose ancestors have come from different parts of the world. These are people who have sacrificed what they had overseas to come and live the American Dream. A dream in which everything and anything is possible, and the only regret will be not trying. The United States of America was based on the principle of Freedom and Opportunity. An opportunity to strive to be a better person than you were the day before. The freedom to state your political opinion without getting oppressed or sent to jail, and be able to pick your religion. Sometimes I find myself asking if this is the country of opportunity and freedom since we are not giving refugees a chance to be cut from the chain of oppression that
