One of the biggest problems in United States that has occurred in the last ten years would be Teen Pregnancy most people try to avoid this situation but it’s just one of those things that happen one moment to another but most people don’t think of what their opportunity costs are for them? First off what do people think opportunity cost is? Opportunity cost is the cost of an alternative that must be forgone in order to pursue a certain action. In conclusion to my essay I would like to state that teen mothers have many opportunity cost when they have a child. Like not getting an education, not being able to enjoy their childhood, or even living on their own are all examples of opportunity cost. This can cause many problems for them like go in to debut or being unemployed or not getting a degree. Mostly everything a mother does is for her baby and most of the time they just want the best for the child. With all odds against them they have no choice but to make these sacrifices in order for the mother and child to live. To growing up with only one parent, and also being poor is also going to cause him or her to make big sacrifices. The child growing up will probably have many similar opportunity costs like her mother had. To conclude my essay many would say that teen mother’s have important opportunity cost in their life many that are very important for making their child’s life better. As many teens get pregnant over the years they all will have to go through similar opportunity
