During WWI woman got many more opportunities in the work place. Firstly, Woman had no choice to work because they needed to support their families. During WWI women had no choice then to work because they needed some way to feed and support their families. Also, the men were out fighting so someone had to do their jobs like making the weapons for the war. Secondly, new jobs were made for women to help them make money in an easer way. Jobs like secretaries, clerks, typists and factory workers were made especially for women during WWI. They could make money doing jobs they already did at home. In 1919 women also got the right to hold political office in Parliament. Which opened up new different jobs women have never been offered before. But women
