Association with less popular sports such as boxing, wrestling, and fencing would be a great opportunity for Gatorade. This will attract new consumers who are actually the fans of these less popular sports. If Gatorade starts manufacturing hydrating bottled water and energy drinks, it could possibly convert the above stated weakness into a great opportunity. Though it is very clear that Gatorade has already a huge product line, but if marketed correctly, adding bottled water and energy drinks to its brand could definitely have some potential in terms of everyday use.
